About this mod
The author has long used Claude Code session end notifications, but when running multiple chats in parallel, only receiving 'some repository finished' made it impossible to tell which session was waiting for what. With the mod release, he rebuilt his notification scheme: using Haiku to generate clear waiting item text, and attaching the chat title and repository name, for example changing from 'sales finished' to 'SEO project · landing page repo – Needs input: Approve post 1 start, commit batch 1'. If there is no response for 5 minutes, it will remind again, and clicking the notification opens the corresponding chat directly in the Claude desktop app. The project is open-sourced at fixter-dev/session-pings, requires installation via the plugin marketplace and installing terminal-notifier, and after installation, restart the session (quitting and reopening the Claude app will not lose chats). The author states it is still difficult to distinguish at a glance which specific chat it is, and seeks improvement ideas from the community.
