About this mod

The author turned Insaniquarium into a multiplayer game mod using Opus 5.5 over a weekend. He had the idea for months but lacked time; after Opus 5.5 was released and seeing community works, he subscribed to the service. With just one prompt (with the decompiled version of the game) and 4 hours, the co-op mode was running in one go; over the weekend, 5 new modes were implemented, his favorite being a MOBA mode that can be played online or locally against bots. The promotional video was also entirely done by Claude, and the project considers the progress amazing.

TL;DR - check out this Insaniquarium mod with new multiplayer game modes including the ridiculous MOBA mode, all made with Opus 5.5 as a single weekend project. I've had this as a project idea for a few months after joking around about it with my brothers and even started working on it at one point, but I didn't have a ton of spare time to get very far and soon became too busy to give it much thought. Then, during the last week, I saw and was inspired by all the cool stuff people were putting together with the release of Opus 5.5. I hadn't purchased any personal-use AI subscriptions yet, and picking one that I could get the most out of for the money was part of my hang up when I first looked into working on this. However, I was very optimistic after everything I saw posted here, so I jumped right in. Well, one new subscription, a single prompt (fed with a little bit of starting help in the form of a decompiled version of the game), 4 hours, and the majority of a 5-hour-limit later, a co-op game mode was in my hands and actually working after a single attempt. I was thrilled to see it and got so excited that I spent a majority of the weekend working on making more ideas for this game a reality. By Monday morning, I had 5 new and different game modes up and running, my favorite of which is almost definitely the ridiculous MOBA game that you can play against friends or locally against bot enemies. Oh, and, of course, this trailer video was put together completely by Claude as well. I honestly haven't even had the time to play it a ton as I've been enjoying working on it, but what I have played is super cool for such a quick project. Hope everyone else enjoys checking this one out too! submitted by /u/SpudMyBud [link] [comments]
