CNLynx/Live-Code-Dashboard
I built a live dashboard for Claude Code with Claude Code – it shows every edit, cost and limits, and lets you answer Claude's questions
Live Code is an open-source Claude Code plugin plus a local dashboard running on 127.0.0.1 that replays every file read/edit line by line with a short Haiku-generated rationale, shows per-turn cost, 5h/7d usage limits and context window, and lets you answer Claude's questions from the dashboard. Optional integrations include a Stream Deck plugin, Philips Hue lights, and Cloudflare/Vercel/Netlify build progress. Installed on Windows via a PowerShell one-liner.

Original text / README
Hi!, I built Live Code , a plugin/mod for Claude Code plus a small local dashboard. It's free and open source. What it does Replays every file Claude reads or edits, line by line, with a one-line note on why Shows cost per turn, the 5h / 7d usage limits with an estimate of when you hit them, and the context window Lets you write to a running chat and answer Claude's questions from the dashboard Optional: a Stream Deck plugin, Philips Hue lights (done / question / stuck), and Cloudflare/Vercel/Netlify builds as a progress bar How Claude Code helped build it I built almost all of it by prompting Claude Code, in one running chat: Claude Code wrote the plugin itself (hooks on tool calls and prompts, through Claude Code's mod API), the local Node server, the dashboard page, the Stream Deck plugin and the Hue integration. The "why" line next to each action comes from Claude Haiku, called through Claude Code's own model access. I mostly described what I wanted ("the cost tile should count all chats like the report", "fold button on both sides", "the light should fill from left to right") and Claude changed the code, tested it in a headless browser against demo data, and showed me screenshots. Claude also wrote the release script, the README and recorded the GIFs and the demo video from the demo dashboard. Because the dashboard reloads its own files, you can keep changing it live the same way: ask Claude in any chat to change it, and the open window updates. Free to try Windows, runs only on your PC (127.0.0.1), no account.
