ccdwyer/departure-board

A Solari split-flap departure board HUD for Claude Code that renders the agent's real task list and tool activity as BOARDING, DEPARTED, DELAYED or CANCELLED rows, with a mini board above the prompt and a /board pane.
ccdwyer/departure-board

Departure Board is a Claude Code mod that displays the agent's actual work as a Solari split-flap departure board in amber on black, animating each character letter by letter at roughly 30 fps. Rows map to real work items from Claude's task list via TodoWrite, TaskCreate and TaskUpdate, and when no live task list exists each submitted prompt becomes a departure. Columns show TIME, DESTINATION, PLATFORM and STATUS, where statuses move through ON TIME, BOARDING, DEPARTED, with DELAYED on errors and CANCELLED for interrupted or deleted items. A mini board of up to 3 rows sits above the prompt and can be toggled with /board band on|off, while /board opens the full board in a pane; an optional self-made flap sound (clack) plays on macOS and is off by default. The clock runs only while flaps fall, and surfaces without cell graphics render the board as text. Installation uses /plugin marketplace add ccdwyer/claude-mods followed by /plugin install departure-board@ccdwyer-mods and /reload-plugins. It hooks session.start, command.run, prompt.submit, turn.start, tool.call, turn.complete, ui.render and ui.close, and never modifies, refuses or annotates tool calls. It runs entirely locally, sends nothing over the network, and is MIT licensed.
Check the author's README for the marketplace and plugin name first. Commands may change as the repository evolves.

session.start: registers /board.command.run (/board): opens the pane or toggles the mini board.prompt.submit and turn.start: a prompt you type becomes a departure when its turn starts (when there's no live task list).tool.call: watches TodoWrite, TaskCreate and TaskUpdate for the rows, and every other call for the platform column and errors. It never changes, refuses or annotates a call.turn.complete: a turn's departure becomes DEPARTED, CANCELLED or stays DELAYED.ui.render (AbovePrompt, Pane): draws the board. The band is drawn above whatever other mods draw there.ui.close: forgets the pane's animation state. It runs entirely on your machine. It sends nothing over the network. It reads Claude's task list and tool calls in this session only.
