About this mod

The /btw side-question feature, which lets you ask something without interrupting the current work, prevents the main conversation from scrolling while it waits for an answer. Closing that panel cancels the answer.

This mod takes over /btw with its own implementation. It hooks command.run with { command: 'btw' } and answers without calling next(), bypassing the built-in implementation's blocking side panel altogether. The answer appears as a normal transcript row（it simply gets a one-off, tool-free response with the current conversation as context through $.model.fork, then returns it as the command's output text）, so there is no panel to lock the conversation and nothing to cancel when it is closed.

Usage

/btw <question> works as before. If the question is empty, it returns the usage information.

To enable hot reload in a session and try it on the real client, copy this folder as-is into the dev-mods folder（the location taught by the plugin-authoring skill）.
