Anthropic released Claude Code v2.1.300 on October 15 Japan time. There are many changes, so I've organized the ones likely related to work.
For those who record usage, items that break down cache writes by retention time have been added to OpenTelemetry events. For those who manage settings and extensions, there are additions around mods and hooks, and inputs returned by hooks are now validated.
In daily work, bugs have been fixed where subsequent turns result in 400 errors when the API rejects an MCP server tool definition, and where the most recent message is lost when resuming headless execution.
On the Slack side, Claude Tag now supports Slack Connect channels. It is disabled by default, and admins enable it.
