About this mod

claude-mods

This is a collection of mods (plugins that add features to the screen) for Claude Code, designed to be easy for non-engineers to use. They work in the Code tab of the desktop app, and in terminals (like Cursor, VS Code, etc.).

How to install

Enter the following two commands in Claude Code:

/plugin marketplace add Humpens/claude-mods
/plugin install status@claude-mods

Other mods can be installed similarly with today@claude-mods, baton-notify@claude-mods, and u@claude-mods. After installation, they will be available when you start a new session.

Screen terminology

Tips for use

• First, press Menu ▸ in the toolbar (above the input field). You can access all features from here.
• If you turn off unused features in Menu → Settings, they will also disappear from the screen.
• For TODOs, it's recommended to move 3-5 items from ◎ to Today in the morning and aim to get the number in the status bar to 0 by the end of the day.

Notes

• baton-notify notifications and sounds are macOS-only (they use osascript and afplay). Speech is a built-in Claude Code feature, so it works on Windows too.
• status uses Claude's lighter model (haiku) to translate English slash command descriptions into Japanese. The translation is done only once, then saved and reused.
• today only reads and writes to the specified TODO file (Markdown).
• None of the mods send data to external servers.
• They do not work in regular Claude Code chats (claude.ai). They are exclusively for the Claude Code interface.

Verifying the contents

claude plugin validate ./status
claude plugin test ./status

validate lists all the features (files, command execution, model calls, etc.) that the mod uses.
