About this mod
context-alert is a Claude Code plugin (manifest at .claude-plugin/plugin.json) that watches context usage and issues a single closure notice per loop and tier when approaching auto-compaction. It reads environment variables such as CLAUDE_CODE_MAX_CONTEXT_TOKENS and CLAUDE_CODE_AUTO_COMPACT_WINDOW (default 200,000 tokens) and registers a tool.call hook to assess usage.
