Claude Code는 ⚠ show-usage: 접두사를 추가하여 이 줄이 플러그인에서 나온 것임을 표시합니다.

이 줄은 Claude Code가 지금까지 보고한 내용만 표시합니다:

  • Claude Code 세션의 첫 응답 전에는 아무것도 표시되지 않습니다.

  • Claude 구독을 사용하지 않을 때(예: API 키 사용), session과 week 부분이 표시되지 않습니다.
  • Claude Code가 리셋 시간을 보고하지 않을 때 리셋 시간이 표시되지 않습니다.

이 줄은 응답이 도착했을 때만 변경되므로, Claude Code 세션이 유휴 상태인 동안 사용 한도가 리셋된 후에도 마지막 값을 유지합니다.

show-usage

Shows context window usage and the 5-hour and 7-day session usage limits on one status line, updated after every response:

⚠ show-usage: context 28% | session 30% [21:50] | week 5% [Sat 2026-10-10 07:00]
  • context: how full the context window is.
  • session and week: the 5-hour and 7-day session usage limits, which /usage shows as "Current session" and "Current week", with their reset times in brackets, in local time.

Claude Code adds the ⚠ show-usage: prefix to mark the line as coming from a plugin.

When values are not shown

The line shows only what Claude Code has reported so far:

  • Nothing at all before the first response of a Claude Code session.
  • No context part right after a compaction, until the next response.
  • No session and week parts when not using a Claude subscription (for example with an API key).
  • No reset time when Claude Code does not report one.

The line changes only when a response arrives, so while the Claude Code session is idle it keeps the last values, even after a usage limit resets.
