Every long turn I'd sit there watching the spinner. So I turned the wait into practice. turntype is a Claude Code mod. When a turn runs longer than 3 seconds, a line shows above the prompt: "press 1: type while you wait". Press 1, a small typing test opens, and in flow mode it lasts exactly as long as Claude does. Claude finishes, you finish your word, you get your wpm.
